Inspection round
CowDetect has a number of facilities which have been developed to meet the daily requirements for current data on those cows which require special attention. The relevant data about the cow in the place where the cow and the production manager meet. This is in the area behind the cow, where you need the data and have to decide whether it must be converted to action or not. An important part of the work with this data is the ”inspection round”.
If ”Inspection Round” is selected in the main menu, a screen image is shown with symbols for the types of observation which would normally be selected from during the inspection round of the animals. One or more items are then selected. Using a popular expression, ”a flag is hoisted” over the individual cow if it is necessary to look more closely at it and decide whether action must be taken. When the animal has been inspected, confirmation is made by pressing the ”inspected” key. CowDetect is used as the most dynamic "memo-slip" the sector has ever seen.
